Back from New Zealand!

And jet-lagged! I have been in Christchurch for just over a week and got home last night. Thank you for all your well-wishes, and see you on the blog tomorrow with photos from NZ!

Mink is very annoyed with us. But happy to be back at home, too.

Blogging break

I love exploring downtown Austin by taking the train.

I'm going to take a week off from the blog for various reasons - see you next week, and I hope April is panning out exactly the way you planned it!

Book in the wild

The Cry of the Go-away Bird came out in New Zealand a few days ago, and my friend Matt was able to sneak up on the books without startling them to take these rare candid shots of a book in its natural habitat. Exciting!





It still feels so strange - and so wonderful - to see it on the shelves.
