My Christchurch series

Hi everyone!

Over the next couple of weeks - interspersed with regular posting - I am going to be posting a series of articles from Christchurch residents in which they talk about the love for their city and their emotions after the 22 February earthquake that caused such great loss of life and devastation. As you probably know if you are a regular reader, I lived in Christchurch for eight years, and my parents and many friends still live there. LOML lived there all his life until we moved to Austin, and his family is based there too. It is a beautiful city that I love very much, and I am supporting both the New Zealand Red Cross effort and the Rebuild Christchurch effort. I hope these articles give those of you outside New Zealand an added insight into life in Christchurch and the spirit of the city.
