These are just a few of the gorgeous dresses from Tess - I love them because of their classic vintage shapes, their high-quality fabrics and construction ... and I also love them for the fact that they're designed and manufactured locally. I usually buy only second-hand clothing (from vintage or thrift stores), but my conscience can rest easy with Tess, which is nice. I have been part of this new company's journey from the beginning, since I met Theresa and learned about her vision to create a design house that embraced vintage glamour, femininity and the perfect fit, among other things, and it has been so exciting to watch it grow - and to learn about all the work that goes on behind the scenes.
You can see the day dresses here and the cocktail dresses here. To get a 10% discount on any one of these Tess dresses, just type in the coupon code "impossiblecat" on checkout. Hooray!
I also love the way that Tess dresses are packaged and shipped. I love getting exciting parcels in the mail (which explains my Amazon book addiction) and the more elaborate, the better. Getting a Tess dress in the mail would be hugely exciting, as it is packed in tissue inside a ribbon-bound dress box. You can see all the packaging here.
Let me know if you choose to use this discount - I'd love to know which dress you buy! My personal favourite is the Margaret, which I own, because of its full fifties-style skirt, but they're all lovely.
